Horseman Shakes and The Draymen have scored a place in a star studded national competition.
Horseman Shakes and The Draymen have reached the national finals of the UK Live and Unsigned Competition and will travel to Portsmouth on Saturday to comp
ete with other acts from all over the country.
The acts are being judged by a host of celebrities and industry insiders including Sex Pistols svengali Malcom McLarren and legendary Radio One DJ Annie Nightingale.
Chris Grayston, events director of Live and Unsigned said: "This year's standard has been higher than ever, we have seen some really serious acts that are demonstrating a real wealth of talent, experience and determination."
The overall winner of the competition takes home a recording contract to the value of £20,000.
The winner also gets industry help with the release of their first single including professional studio time.
Former winners have gone onto play with the likes of The Ting Tings and Primal Scream.
