Youthful Hatters see off Dunstable Town at Creasey Park

Midfielder Scott Sinclair lit up Creasey Park with his late hat-trick as a youthful looking Luton Town side saw off Dunstable Town 3-0 on Monday night.

Brave Blues, who were also fielding a young side, held out until midway through the second period when Sinclair, who had just come on as a substitute, broke the deadlock.

He then went on to add two more in the closing stages, although the match was marred by an unfortunate ankle injury to Hatters' Adam Watkins, who had to be stretchered off.

Watkins underwent an X-ray and although it is not broken, it is too swollen to assess the extent of the injury and he will undergo an scan early next week.
