Current manager named in chairman's side

New Luton Town chairman Nick Owen has revealed his favourite all-time Hatters XI.

Owen is featured in the summer 2008 edition of Backpass magazine, where among others things, he picks his ideal dream team from the hundreds of players he has seen play for the Kenilworth Road club down the years.

Choosing a 4-3-3 formation, his team is Ron Baynham, Tim Breacker, Steve Foster, Syd Owen, Kirk Stephens, Alan West, Ricky Hill, David Preece, Mick Harford, Brian Stein and Malcolm Macdonald. Making up his squad of 16 would be substitutes Jake Findlay, Mal Donaghy, John Aston, David Moss and Don Givens.
