Stadium situation is ever-changing

Ever-changing development opportunities mean that Luton Town's search for a new home is ongoing.

The Hatters are continuing to press ahead with their independent feasibility study, but the changing nature of available sites means their search is taking some time.

Director Stephen Browne said: "We are continuing with our discussions, as we have been over the last few months, with landowners and various opportunities that might be available to the club.

"They are ongoing. There is no milestone that has been reached.

"I think a lot of people think an independent feasibility survey is a report rather than the process that it is.

"For us the independent feasibility study starts with identifying the possible locations.

"We did that quite a long while ago but then you have got quite a lot of work to do to see if they will hold water sufficiently to go forward as one of the final sites to be considered.

"Things change and even since last autumn things have changed.

"Some locations that were on our radar are no longer feasible and ones that weren't now are."
