Hatters look to topple table-topping Oxford
Star Oxford United striker James Constable is suspended for leaders' visit to Kenilworth Road.
The U's have sold out their 1,500 seat allocation for the all-ticket clash, but Luton manager Richard Money refused to get carried away by the absence of the U's striker who has hit 19 goals in 27 games in all competitions this season.
He said: "When one door closes an opportunity opens for someone else.
"They obviously probably have the biggest squad in this division.
"Whoever they bring in for Constable I'm sure will be of the right quality required."
And Money is hoping his team can convert their fine away form to Kenilworth Road and get the home supporters behind his side.
He said: "We have a good mentality away from home. We are obviously very happy that we've been as successful as we have been, but we've got some tough away games coming up and we need it to continue.
"It's a home game. Our home form has been very patchy and we need to put it right.
"I think there will be a big atmosphere there tomorrow.
"As ever, it's important to the players to get them on their side.
"You can't keep disappointing people wihtout there being a reaction. We are well aware of that.
"It's understanable. It's down to us as a group to really keep them with us tomorrow."
And, although, Money is expecting a tough test he belives Luton can still make up ground on those right at the top of the division.
He said: "They've obviously been at the forefront og the league from the start of the season and they been able to maintain that.
"The fact that York and Stevenage have caught them up is more testament to what they've done that what Oxford haven't done in recent weeks.
"They are a very good team and we need to be at our best to beat them.
"We are concentrating at the minute on trying to get our own stability intact and we are still in contention. We just need to focus on the next game.
"We've had a few chances really to push ourselves back into contention and tomorrow is another one."
But Money believes the game will be every inch as tough as Town's 1-0 victory at Barrow on Saturday, saying: "It's three points. Won't get any more for tomorrow night than we will get from Eastbourne on Saturday or from Barrow like we did at the weekend."
And he touched on the team huddle at the end of the game at Holker Street, as he continued: "Everyone in the group realised it was a huge game after what happened on Saturday.
"With this game coming up I think it was important to say a big well cone and we were proud of everybody.
"It's the start of a crucial run of games coming up."
On the injury front, Lewis Emanuel (broken toe), Ryan Charles (knee), Shane Blackett (groin) and Kevin Gallen (knee) are all still out, but Claude Gnakpa, Ed Asafu-Adjaye and Matthew Barnes-Homer should all be availabole.
Money said: "We think Claude will be OK. He takes quite a few knocks, but we hope he will be OK for tomorrow.
"Barnes-Homer has come in and trained this morning which is another bonus for us as we are going to have a few back.
