Wilko’s coming to town!

editorial image

A true musical legend is coming to town in the shape of the one, the only Wilko Johnson!

Following the release of the guitarist’s autobiography entitled Looking Back At Me, the man who has influenced everyone from Joe Strummer and Mick Jones to Steve Albini will play at Bedford Corn Exchange on Thursday, November 1.

Wilko Johnson is the original guitarist from punk legends Dr Feelgood and pioneered their signature sound.

After leaving the band Wilko played guitar for Ian Dury and the Blockheads. His current band features Blockhead members - Norman Watt-Roy on bass guitar, and Dylan Howe on drums.

Dr Feelgood was known primarily for high energy live performances and an audience looking forward to a Wilko Johnson show can expect just that.

So get ready music fans, this really is going to be a night out to remember.
