There’s nothing bitter about what’s springing up here!

The Bitter Springs have been described as one of the most enduring and unpredictable independent rock groups in the country.

So if you like your rock groups independent and unpredictable have I got a treat for you!

The band will play at Holy
Moly’s in Esquires on Saturday, March 2.

The free show gives Bedford music fans the chance to see the band , who hail from the London suburbs, alongside Bedford favourites Fishwife’s Broadside.

The Bitter Springs played the Tanned Tin festival in Spain in 2011 with Faust and Thurston Moore - they are proud of having never played the same live set twice and aim to make every gig is a unique and memorable night. Other notable Spanish outings have been to Frontera Circulo in Madrid and the Primavera Festival in Barcelona in 2011.

Fishwife’s Broadside have been steadily building up a following over the last couple of years, and many local gig-goers will relish the opportunity to see them play live.

Under their own promotional banner of Billy Stupid’s Circus they are trying to bring as many bands that they love and admire as possible to come and play for us here in Bedford.

And isn’t that lovely folks? Lovely indeed.

Doors open at 8pm
