Comedy night returns to The Pad
A playwright, pornographer and chimney sweep walk into a bar, The Pad in fact, and actually they're all the same guy.
Yes comedian Paul Ricketts has done it all and is now in town to launch the first Last Minute Comedy Club of 2010 along with fellow funnyman and Irish cheeky chappy Paddy Lennox.
For those yet to witness The Last Minute Comedy club it is a brilliant anarchic comedy event that has been taking place at The Pad over the last year.
Host and compere Paul B Edwards has an incredible knack of booking some amazing acts he gets to work with up and down the country at the likes of the Comedy Store and Jongleurs.
The Pad dance floor is converted into a theatre-like space with tables and chairs so it's like watching live comedy in your front room.
Then after the comedy's over Loaded indie night will commence as per usual with a special guest in DJ Roch, Gareth and Kev – playing the very best in alternative dance floor classics and Saturday sounds right through to 3am.
Doors open at 7.30pm this Saturday with the comedy kicking off at 8.30pm.
Tickets cost 8, members 6, and includes admission to the comedy club and entry to the club night.
