Classroom antics not appropriate for the easily offended

Kevin Precious

Kevin Precious

BARNSTORMERS comedy founder and former teacher Kevin Precious is in a class of his own when it comes to stand-up.

The comedian, MC and promoter has performed his stand-up routines at top venues all over the country and is a regular fronting the monthly comedy nights at The Grove.

Now he’s back at the Dunstable venue, on an upstairs stage, in a show about teaching this Thursday. Not Appropriate is the most overused term of disapproval in the teacher’s canon. Join Kevin as he explores his former life as a teacher in a show that will appeal to anyone who has ever taught or - for that matter - been to school; parts of which are likely to be not appropriate.

*Also on this week: Medium psychic Tony Stockwell is back tomorrow night; The wonderful Lady Boys of Bangkok return with their new show, Carnival Queens, on the main stage on Thursday.

Fringe favourite Adam Kay, frontman of Amateur Transplants, brings his show that’s packed with smutty songs (really - they’re not suitable for the easily offended) on Friday and Kaaren Ragland frontsa night of music from The Supremes next Tuesday. The Sounds of The Supremes, led by Ragland, a former member of original Supreme Mary Wilson’s 70s/80s group, performing chart topping hits like You Keep Me Hanging On; Stop In The Name Of Love; Where Did Our Love Go; You Can’t Hurry Love And Baby Love.
