A Dreamcoat for Valentine's Day

Dreams do come true

After enjoying sell-out success at Milton Keynes Theatre in November the smash-hit musical Dreamboats and Petticoats is back just in time for Valentine's Day.

Last-time round Go! sent our man Paul Fisher along to check out the Swinging Sixties action and he returned full of nothing but praise for the show.

"Dreamboats and Petticoats is a musical romp down memory lane that had the audience dancing in the aisles," he said.

"Rammed from start to finish with the 1960s biggest hit singles –Del Shannon eat your heart out –this love story makes two hours slip by in a minute as the cast rock you around the clock.

"All of the music is performed live on stage by a cast of exceptionally talented musicians, singers and dancers.

"All three of the lead women, Lauren Hood, Francesca Jackson and Clare Ivory, have strong voices to belt out the classics, such as Bobby's Girl, Da Do Ron Ron and At The Hop.

"Add in a support cast of guitarists, flautists and saxophonists, Bethany Compson-Bradford in particular making a standout professional stage debut asBrenda, and you have one of the most uplifting and fun musicals on the stage today."

Well if you missed it last time don't worry because it's returning to Milton Keynes Theatre next week.

Over onemillion people have been enchanted by this evening of pure hedonistic affection for a more innocent era.

Catch this fantastic singing and dancing sensation between Monday, February 15 and Saturday, February 20.

Tickets cost between 11 and 32.
