The latest rowing action


Star Club's juniors achieved some great results at Wallingford Regatta on Sunday.

There was victory for Lottie Burgess in the Wallingford Skiff Regatta Cup and, along with Hui Yan Manley, Kit Mulvaney and Helena Rozman, Star's Junior four manged to finish third behind Marlow and Sir William Borlase School.

The J16 of Tom Beechinor, Andy Walker, Jack Tysoe and Tom Durrant also came third behind The Kings School Ely and Marlow.

Victoria Huckle, Charlotte Cook, Ruby Ellam and Pam Ewang were runners-up to Sir William Borlase School by a quarter of a second in the J16 fours, while Star's Men's squad of Chris Callow, Dave Kempsall, Pete Mulkerrins and Mark Bavington, came third to Star & Arrow and Gloucester in the final of the S2 fours event.
