Daniel and Armitt the heroes as Bedford win on the road
Eagles continued their habit of earning decent results against teams in the top six with a 2-1 win at Bashley in the Zamaretto Premier this evening.

Winger Craig Daniel put Bedford ahead on 27 minutes and the win was sealed three minutes from time when Bashley's Gary Middleton put through his own net.

Goalkeeper Mike Armitt also saved a Dave Allen penalty on 74 minutes to keep the Eagles in front.

The hosts did find the net deep into injury time through Joe Maxwell but it was merely consolation as Lee Howarth's side made it four unbeaten in the league.
