Wootton man dies following car crash in Norfolk

Couple arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving
A man from Wootton has died following a car crash in Norfolk on Sunday, May 11.

Richard Cave, 62, was found lying in the road in the small costal town of Scratby, near Great Yarmouth, shortly after midnight.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two people, a 20-year-old woman and 29-year-old man, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. They have since been bailed pending further enquires.

Police officers are still keen to trace occupants of a light coloured vehicle who could be important witnesses.
