Vandals target 16 vehicles

Damage costing many hundreds of pounds caused in Flitwick.



A search has begun for the vandals who damaged 16 vehicles in Flitwick early on Saturday.

Wing mirrors and windscreens were smashed in the Compton Close area from 1-1.30am.

PC Matt Bloomer said: "We are looking at a considerable amount of cost and damage. If anyone knows who caused it, or saw anyone hanging around or acting suspiciously, then please contact the police."

The number to call is 01234 275113. A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and is currently on police bail.
