Thugs attacked a teenager and stole his shopping as he walked through Bedford town centre on Monday.
The 13-year-old boy had walked along Harpur Street towards Horne Lane, turned right into Commercial Road, and was behind the Salvation Army bui
lding when he was attacked from behind by two other boys at around 5.30pm.
One of them held the victim in a headlock before pushing him to the ground and stealing his shopping bags containing a Top Gear DVD box set, greetings card, mug and coaster.
The victim is described as white, wearing a green beanie hat with a skull and crossbones detailed in silver beads and a black and grey No Fear jumper with a hood, which had a red lining.
His attackers are both described as white teenagers between 13 and 15 years old, and around 5ft 10ins tall.
One was wearing a black hooded top with a blue Nike logo on the front with blue writing down the centre of his back, grey or olive green jeans and had short dark hair.
The other was wearing a black or navy blue beanie hat.
