300-mile marathon launches fundraiser
Lace-up those running shoes, pull on your shorts and hit the track for Sport Relief this month.

The Bedford mile comes to town on Sunday, March 21, but fundraising begins this week with a 24-hour 300-mile race organsied by The University of Beds and Bedford Borough Council.

Around 30 runners will take it in turns to run relays around Bedford Park, starting at midday on Wednesday, going throughout the night and finishing at the same time on Thursday.

Runners who do not fancy going quite as far can still register for the one, three, or six mile events taking place on March 21 at Bedford International Athletics Stadium.
