Car park plan comes a step nearer for Ford End Road.



A new car park in Queens Park, Bedford, aimed at solving congestion problems in Ford End Road has moved a step nearer.

On Tuesday the borough council agreed to fund £45,000 for the facility on the road's junction with Havelock Street.

County Hall will contribute £55,000 and brewer Charles Wells the land.
