Police looking for two men after attack in woodland near Goldington Road, Bedford.


A man is in hospital after being assaulted in woodland close to Goldington Road in Bedford.

The victim, thought to be aged in his fifties, is believed to have suffered head injuries and a suspected fracture to the skull.

Police believe that two males assaulted the man on Tuesday. An ambulance was called to the scene at 2.40pm.
