Heavy rain hits north Beds villages
Roads turned to rivers and fields turned to fords after heavy rain caused flooding across Bedfordshire.

On Tuesday Felmersham Road in Radwell was flooded and a motorist had to be rescued by police after driving their car into flood waters near Harrold.

An Environment Agency spokeswoman said that roads and fields may stay blocked for a few more days, but there is no foreseeable danger of homes being affected.

She said: "There are flood waters at the moment and we have a flood warning in place.

"We would advise people not to walk through the water because it might be contaminated, drivers should not go through because a car can tip up very easily."
