Teenager last seen at Greyfriars police station on Wednesday morning

A search is under way for a 14-year-old Bedford schoolgirl who went missing from Greyfriars police station yesterday morning, Wednesday, March 26.

Jessica Williams, of Hickling Close, Queens Park, was taken to the station following a dispute with her family, but fled at around 10.30am.

Jessica is described as approximately 5ft 2in tall, with brown shoulder length hair. She was last seen wearing a yellow striped top.

Jessica's mother, Patricia Williams, who is eight months pregnant, said: "We're distraught. I haven't been able to sleep and just want to hear from her or anyone who knows where she is."

A spokesman for Bedfordshire Police said: "Jessica is still missing and we are attempting to make contact with her."

Anyone with any information should contact Sgt Ian McBrearty on 01234 841212.

Have you had an annual pay rise in the last 12 months?
Yes, a whopper, thanks for asking.
A small one, but it has hardly covered the increased costs of living.
Not this year, I'm afraid.
What's an annual pay rise? I can't remember the last time I had one.
