Four taken to hospital following bridge accident

Two pedestrians believed to be involved after a car mounted the kerb



A child and three adults were taken to hospital following an accident on the Town Bridge, High Street, Bedford, on Friday afternoon (May 16).

According to police a lorry collided with a red Rover 414 at 2.46pm, which in turn mounted the kerb.

Two of those taken to hospital are believed to have been pedestrians. No-one suffered serious injuries.
