Throughout the Easter period Stagecoach buses will run to normal school holiday timetables in Bedfordfordshire, with the exception of Good Friday and Easter Monday, according to the company's operations manager for Bedford, Zoe Paget.

On Good Friday (March 21) Easter timetables will run on routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 51 and the Jupiter service. On that same day, Saturday services will operate on the X5, Pluto (P1), Mercury (M50) and the Elstow park and ride.

A Sunday service will operate on Good Friday on routes Mars (M2 and M3), Saturn (S1) and Venus (V2), with some additional buses in the morning and early evening.

Q: Are you worried by stalling house prices?
No: if my house is worth less, then so are all the others on the market.
Yes: already it seems my house isn't worth what I paid for it.
Frankly I still can't afford to get on the housing market.
