A short film set in Bedfordshire has been nominated for a Creative East Award.
The Bedfordshire Clanger, made by Five Feet Films, is a 30-minute short which follows a disillusioned cyclist on a charity bike ride, who travels through Beds and comes across different people during the ride.
Shot on location, it is a celebration of the traditions of the county, and is now up for Best Film at the Creative East Awards, which cover the whole of the east of England.
Other nominees in the category include a BBC TV East production, a feature film by The Content Providers - a company supported by Screen East - and a production made under Screen East's Digital Shorts Scheme.
But The Bedfordshire Clanger was made without any financial support from the usual film industry sources.
The Bedfordshire Clanger is now available to buy on DVD.
