Duo left with cuts and grazes after robbery

Two youngsters were robbed in a Luton street by three youths on bicycles.

The 14-year-old teenager and his 13-year-old friend were walking in Sundon Park Road between 3pm and 3.20pm on Saturday, May 3, when they were approached by the gang, who were shouting abuse at them.

Frightened, the victims ran away, but the gang caught up with them in Toddington Road, where they hit the 13-year-old, leaving him with a cut to his upper lip and grazing to his elbow.

They surrounded the 14-year-old, punched him in the face and demanded he hand over his mobile phone.

All three robbers - white men aged about 17 - left the scene on their bikes, heading towards the Bungalow Shop in Toddington Road.

The first man is described as being about 5ft 7ins and medium build, with unkempt brown hair, a brown moustache and goatee beard.

He wore a dark green knitted jumper and dark jogging bottoms, and was on a rusty old mountain bike.

The second youth was about 5ft 6ins, slim build, pale complexion, clean shaven, with short blond hair and ginger highlights.

He wore a light blue hooded top with a white Nike logo on the front and navy jogging bottoms with white lines down the sides.

The third man was about 5ft 5ins, stocky build, tanned complexion, clean shaven with short dark hair and a scar just under his left eyebrow.

He wore a blue string vest and tracksuit bottoms.
