Damien Hirst and Pete Doherty in the frame
Local artist Nicky Morris has sold one of his paintings to Damien Hirst.

And he says he's convinced the bad boy of the art world bought the picture because it contains body fluids.

The oils used for Tears were actually mixed with tears from Nicky and his four children - Henry, Alfie, Louis and Dylan. And Nicky considers the 10 inch square canvas to be one of his best.

He has also heard on the grapevine that Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty is interested in buying one of his works.

Nicky, who lives in Houghton Regis and went to Queensbury School in Dunstable, has had no formal training. He hopes to mount an exhibiiton at Dunstable Library in May.
