Football theme for winning bedroom design
George Beck, a year 4 pupil at Russell Lower School, created a fantastic football-themed scheme which won first prize in the competition run by developer Bloor Homes developer for its forthcoming Ampthill Chase development.
The scheme, which includes a green turf-style carpet and a mural of Wembley Stadium on the wall, will now be used by Bloor’s interior designer Lorna O’Toole to create the bedroom in the showhome, set to launch later this year.

Picking a winner was very tricky but George’s football-themed design just pipped the others to the post.
“We look forward to bringing George’s scheme to life and to showing it to George, his family and his school friends when our new showhome at Ampthill Chase opens.”
George was presented with an artist’s sketch pad and equipment as a thank you and congratulations for his fantastic design and effort.
Ampthill Chase will be a development of two to four-bedroom homes with first sales releases anticipated in the autumn or winter of this year.
